Too bad. Out of warranty--it now is a $30 paperweight of garbage. Look at another item than this, given its recurrent rate of not working. As someone with night blindness who has stairs, in the dark and needs a nightlight to flip on nearby--I thought this was Great. And it was, for almost 2 years--till it just upped and died.
The second unit I use the sensor it is great when I walk into the dark house just enough light to get down the hall to the kitchen. The night light is pleanty in that area. Flash light is a good emergency light and easy to find in a power failure, but dont expect to paint a room using it, it gives a decent amount of light to find fuse bos car key and light a pathe to you car. I have had these pluged in vor several months now no complaints. I have 2 units 1 I use as night light only as it is in a hihg traffic area and would constantly dect movement so the brighter light was always on and off.
It appears that there is about a 50% failure rate. The concept is perfect, but the reliability is poor. I bought 2 of these in January, and liked them so much, I bought 2 more in March. One of the January units started flickering in March, and one of the March units started flickering yesterday.
THAT SUCKS AT $25.00 A POP. BOUGHT TWO ONE WORKS FLAWLESLY THE OTHER LIGHT FLICKERS WHEN IT GOES ONNO RETURNS ON OPEN PACKAGES, BE AWARE.
I researched for a new emergency light and decided Snetina LED-92M was a good bet.It has been a smart choice working flawlessly for the past 3 months and I anticipatefor a longtime to come.
